Wedding Favor Ideas
Looking for wedding favor ideas and not sure where to start? You have definitely come to the right place.
There are so many unique ideas for wedding favors that they could not possibly be covered here, and you can get very creative with your favors, or keep it simple. As with other wedding planning details, you are limited only by your creativity and your budget when it comes to wedding favors.
Following, we offer you a variety of general suggestions for inspiration, and hopefully you will find your imagination taking it from there!
- Wedding party colors: Consider a favur for your guests that does double-duty by co-ordinating with your wedding colors. For example, you could choose candle-holders in matching or complementary colors, which will serve as part of the décor for the evening, and then as a lovely and useful favors guests can take home and use in their own homes.
- Wedding theme: Do you have a theme for your wedding? For instance, perhaps you plan to decorate your reception hall in a beach theme (consider a vase of shells, for example), or a special Holiday theme. Favors chosen to compliment and express your theme will not only be appreciated, they will serve as a unique reminder of your special day.
- Wedding location or season: Perhaps your reception is at a golf course, in which case a golf-related favor might be a charming option. Or, if you are getting married during a season which is known for certain trademarks, you can work this into your favor ideas…for example a snowglobe for a wintery wedding, or a fall wreath for autumn.
- History or special meaning: Is there a family history you would like to express in some special way? Consider using your favors to show a little personal meaning. A family portrait in a frame, for example, or perhaps a nautical-themed favor for a family of boaters. Get creative, and ask your family about some stories that may have meaning if you can’t think of anything yourself.
- Décor or garden: People always appreciate little gifts that are useful to them, on top of being special reminders of you of course! Offer them something that not only makes your reception more beautiful, but that will enhance their own homes for years to come as well, such as classy vases, candles, hurricane lamps or outdoor garden planters.
